LOCATION

You can find us at 6450 Deer Lake Ave., Burnaby, BC. From Vancouver, recommended to take TransCanada Highway 1, Exit 32 to Sprott St. From East, recommended to take TransCanada Highway 1, Exit 33 to Canada Way.

There are 2 public entrances to the venue: Main East Gate & West Gate. Both entrances feed from Deer Lake Avenue off Deer Lake Parkway or Canada Way. Signs will point patrons in the direction of site access.

The Main East Gate is located on the northeast side of the venue, next to the Shadbolt Centre. The West Gate is located on the northwest side of the venue. All guests with tickets already can enter through this gate.

Getting Here

First come first served parking is available at the Burnaby Village Museum lot after 4:30PM. Please note, Deer Lake Ave will be closed to regular traffic from 4PM to 11PM. To promote public safety and reduce traffic gridlock, traffic plans will be implemented on show days; please be sure to review here.

Multiple bus routes service the Deer Lake Park area and include stops at Lougheed Mall, Brentwood Mall, and Metrotown. The closest bus loop to the site is located at Burnaby City Hall.

Bicycles will not be permitted inside the venue. Limited bike racks are available near the East Gate entrance.

Bags will be subject to search at the gates prior to entry.

No lawn chairs of any design will be permitted on site. Blankets are permitted.

To ensure the enjoyment and safety of all guests the following items are NOT permitted onsite:

Aerosol containers of any kind
Animals. Only service dogs with a British Columbia Dog Identification Card are permitted Guide Dog and Service Dog Certification - Province of British Columbia (gov.bc.ca). If the service dog team is from out of province, the equivalent license/Identification card from the licensing body in their home state or province is required
Any bag larger than 12”x 6”x 12” (exceptions will be made for medically necessary bags or diaper bags required for infant/child items)
Hard sided water bottles, soft sided water bottles exceeding 1 Litre
Hydration packs with more than two main compartments and one smaller compartment or with the bladder not intact and ready for use. No metal or hard framing (must be empty upon entry)
Artificial noise makers, including megaphones and air horns
Musical instruments and Bluetooth speakers
Balloons or inflatables of any kind
Coolers
Costume masks
Drones
Flag poles or poles/long sticks of any kind
Walking sticks or canes of any kind unless it is a medical required mobility device
Gang or club clothing and/or gang or club support gear
Banners, posters, signs and flags
Gas masks
Glass of any kind
Hard-sided (Wood or metal framed) folding fans
Helmets, unless medically required
Illegal drugs and drug paraphernalia
Laptops/tablets
Laser pointers of any kind
Outside food & beverage that is homemade or open. Must be factory sealed, with the exception of medical necessary or prescribed items
Outside liquor
Pocketknives of any kind
POI, whips and other flow props
Portable chairs of any kind, including lawn chairs
Professional audio, video or photography equipment (no detachable lenses, tripods, zoom lens 2 inches or greater, and/or commercial use camera assemblies)
Pyrotechnics of any kind, including fireworks, sparklers or firecrackers
Selfie Sticks or GoPro apparatus
Skateboards, rollerblades, roller skates, scooters, wheeled or motorized items intended to be ridden
Sports equipment (i.e., Frisbees, hula hoops, etc.)
Tactical clothing or equipment
Tents
Umbrellas
Water guns
Weapons of any kind and/or items that can be used as a weapon, including but not limited to large spikes, heavy wallet chains, bats/clubs, etc.
Any other item deemed unsafe by site management
